Where we work
Our Location
We are based in Rethymno, Crete, a city where education, local business, agriculture, tourism and community life come together. The presence of the University of Crete and its active student and academic community contributes to the educational and cultural life of the city, while the wider local economy includes businesses and professionals from a range of sectors.
Rethymno also has a long and diverse history, reflected in its historic centre, architecture and urban landscape. Venetian and Ottoman influences can be seen throughout the old town, alongside local traditions and aspects of everyday life that continue to shape the city’s identity. The combination of a university community, an active city centre, local businesses, agriculture, tourism and a strong cultural heritage creates a diverse environment for educational mobility, work-based learning and intercultural exchange.

About Crete
Rethymno is part of Crete, an island with a distinctive cultural identity shaped by thousands of years of history, its position in the Mediterranean and the traditions that have developed across its communities. From its ancient archaeological heritage and historic settlements to its local customs, music, gastronomy, agriculture and natural environment, Crete brings together many different aspects of history and contemporary life. At the same time, the island has a dynamic present, with universities, businesses, tourism, agriculture and communities that continue to shape its social and economic life.
Our Story
Although EduNex Hub is a newly established organization, it is built on the experience, expertise, and international network developed over more than 20 years. Our team has extensive experience in adult education, European mobility programmes, research, capacity building, and the development and management of EU-funded projects.
